Synergy in Health Care through Cooperation with Russian Partners

A joint article “Synergy in Health Care through Cooperation with Russian Partners”, written jointly by Jussi Hänninen and Dr. Irina Bakhtina is published in Journal of XAMK UAS — Yhteistyötä, ymmärrystä ja uteliaisuutta in 2018.

The authors investigated cross-border education cooperation required to ensure that the geographical proximity of Russia can be utilized and its culture, habits and society can be appreciated in nursing education and training. The promotion of cross-border education cooperation, development of international nursing expertise and mobility, and networking between practitioners in the field on both sides of the Russian-Finnish border are appropriate and respectable goals for educational cooperation. The network partnership with foreign universities and clinics on the implementation of international educational programs for nursing staff of healthcare organizations and clinical specialists is continuing.
